1. Yes it is permissible but discouraged if there is no medical need to do so.
2. However, there is no guarantee that the doctor would be correct. Rather leave it as a surprise.

Consequently, there is no blanket ruling on the permissibility of Reiki. Any form of physical exercise that enhances the wellbeing of body without compromising any of the tenets of faith will be permissible.

to do wudu for touching the Qur'an

Image
Question
I understand that it's compulsory to do wudu for touching the Qur'an but is it necessary to do so while reading as well - even on the computer? Also can I read the Qur'an on the computer during the menstrual days - as I am not physically touching it?

Answer
Muhtaram / Muhtaramah
In the Name of Allāh, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāh wa-barakātuh.
If a person is reciting the Qur'an from the computer, and one is not touching the screen, then wudu is not necessary. It would however be better to be in a state of wudu.
During menses, a woman may not recite the Qur'an, even though she is not touching it. The same applies to the computer.

In desperation, he decided to proceed to Imam Abu Hanifa رحمه الله and explain to him what had transpired. Imam Abu Hanifa رحمه الله dressed him up in a new set of clothing, applied scent to his body and placed a splendid Taylasani shawl around his shoulders with the advice, "Now, proceed to your home and act as if you have no need to speak to her."
Imam Abu Yusuf رحمه الله did as he was advised. When she noticed his attitude, she remarked "It appears as if you have been to the home of a shameless woman!"
Imam Abu Yusuf رحمه الله was overjoyed at her words, by virtue of which their marriag…

Ahyan is the plural of Heen. Heen means time. Ahyanuddeen means ‘the times of deen’. We suggest the name be changed to Ihyaauddeen which means ‘to liven deen’.
